ok so i'm recording someone right now and they had a request i don't think i've ever heard before, which was "i want the click track to be in the song. not over the song as a guide. part of the song."
i'm not one to bash a man's taste, plus my name isn't going on it (mainly so i dont have to argue with people trying to make me do stuff that sounds bad, i can just say "u got it boss" and have no personal backlash) so i just said sure
but wait
how do you get the click track??? i really dont want to go into the files to maybe find it, i dont want to go online, and i sure as hell dont want to just record it with the mic.
so after like 2 minutes of thinking at 1:30 am, i unhook my interface from the left speaker and plug it into the input
i feel as if i have just outsmarted steve wozniak himself
