I'm brand new to hardware synths and recording in general, so I'm looking for some advice on how to best wire everything up.
My current gear:
- Microbrute
- Eventide H9 effects pedal
- Behringer USB mixer
- Laptop running Bitwig
Right now it's just Microbrute -> Eventide H9 -> mixer -> Laptop (via USB)
I have no problem hooking everything up for recording audio; that's all working fine. But what I really want to do is set a tempo in my DAW, and have both my Eventide H9 and Microbrute immediately set themselves to the same tempo.
The Microbrute has a USB MIDI in/out, and the Eventide H9 has a regular MIDI in port and out port.
