Hello Reddit ! In my Productions i have a drum, a Synth and a Bass Bus. 1. Should i have a limiter on These Buses to get the song loud?

And should i bring the treshold up until it gets Little Bit distorted and bring it Little Bit back ??? Or should i Look on the gain Reduction ??
- i have a limiter on my kick , on my drum Bus and on the Master. Have Little Bit gain reduction on every of These, or bring the treshold up on the limiter on every of These exactly before the distortion ?? Thanks and sry for Shitty englisch :-)
