I've gotten in the habit of freezing delay reverb tails and duplicating them out etc., lots of fun, but one day recently for some reason, Ableton decided it wasn't going to freeze tails anymore. Now if I put a delay on a track and turn the dry wet up to 100, and flatten it, the result is just silence.
It used to be that when I would freeze the track, I'd see that crosshatch pattern that shows how long the tail extends. But now when I freeze, I can already see that there isn't going to be a tail when I flatten, because the crosshatch doesn't even show up.
I hate to ask a basic troubleshooting question here here but I've Googled around and looked at the manual and found nothing, so I am just wondering, has anyone else dealt with the same thing? Thank you very much.
