Every time I use a square-waveform to make a lead the same thing happens , i hear an ear-piercing, high frequency and no matter how much surgical eq I do, it won't fix it! It's very noticeable when I use ear buds (or any phone earphones) and since many people hear music this way, it's a problem.
An example of the frequency thing i'm talking about can been heard in this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LN2FU7XAhI , at 1:11 minutes .
From my monitors it sounds perfectly fine but with every earbud/phone I used to hear it there's a very piercing frequency , similar to the ones I'm getting, ruining this part IMO.
Any idea on what I can do?
