I'm not sure what unit I should get, so that I can monitor my JBL 305 monitors & DT770 headphones, if I were to purchase a PCI-E card like the RME Raydat.
I would also like the ability to send audio from the PC out to my SP 303 sampler, then from it, back into the PC.
We obviously all need a way to monitor the volume of our DAWs, Chrome/Firefox, Media players, etc.
Some have told me to pick up an ADA8200 converter, but it doesn't have headphone outs.
So would I need to purchase something like another audio interface, a Saffire Pro 40 perhaps, then connect it via ADAT In/Out to the RME Raydat?
How in the world do you guys do this? I've used analog mixer, digital mixers, USB & FW units, just never PCI-E...
Here's my gear list:
-
JP 8000 (stereo out only)
-
Bass Station II (mono out only)
-
Volca Keys (mono out only)
-
SP 303 (stereo out AND stereo in)
-
JBL LSR 305 monitors
-
DT 770 headphones
