I am running out of storage on my Macbook Pro 13" with 256gb SSD. I think it would be the best option to buy a new external harddrive. Which one should I get if my main interests are: saving samples and all audio files, maybe sometimes videos and photos too?
I was thinking of getting Lacie Rugged Mini 2tb USB 3.0 because it is on sale in the store near me (100€). Sale is ending today, that is way I decided to ask for the answer here. Is it any good for music producing even if it's 5400rpm or is it really important to have 7200 or even SSD?
I tried to search for this information here and google but didn't find my answer. Also just to say, I allready have external WD 3tb for backing up my and my familys computer.
