Hello people of Reddit! So, I'm an absolute beginner at music. The most experience I have is a year of piano lessons which I was uninterested in understanding. Now though, I'm starting to really enjoy music and appreciate how it can create its own atmosphere and emotions with little outside help.
So I'd like to learn about the mechanics and theory behind it in my spare time, and maybe even compose simple stuff, but I have no idea what online resources and things to trust, or where I should be going.
So could any of you please give me some quick pointers?
