I've been working on some tracks and my melodies seem good, my chords seem good, and my songs sound good to me. But when I make the drop, for some reason it falls apart. It seems like I'm just throwing random sounds out that have little correspondence to the rhythm of the song. I heard of putting crowd noise behind the drop to tie it together, and have heard of putting in an arp to help with that too, but for some reason my different basses don't just flow together like the it should. When I switch using basses it feels out of sync like I just changed the whole song. Any help? Thanks for your time.
