Hey guys,
I've been making music and production for a decade now, but never electronic, at least professionally. I am now composing/producing dnb for a client and need some help regarding white noise.
I know what's happening in songs, I can hear the filter rising, reverbs, sidechain to the beat etc but for some reason I just don't like the results I am getting.
I am looking for tutorials on youtube but they are all covering pretty basic stuff, and fail to explain the actual methodology.
Can you offer some insights on how should I think of white noise, any tricks, how should I apply reverb, delay, filter on it, or any other kind of advice you might think of. Anything would be useful.
Thanks
