Hi all, I've been considering getting into production, and I'm in need of a new laptop. I couldn't find this question in the sidebar, and the weekly "no stupid questions" seem to have stopped.
Basically, I'd like to know how fast of a processor is necessary for production. Would a modern i3 be sufficient, or would an i5 be better? Can DAWs utilize multiple cores well? I don't expect to be bottlenecked by the other components, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, this is my first time on this sub. Sorry if this isn't the content you'd like here.
