One thing I cant seem to understand about synths are the fact that they all use knobs to adjust values. These knobs are unintuitive when using mouse and keyboard, and for many vsts dont even have value labels to attempt precise adjustments. For someone who is kind of anal about precise numbers this can be very frustrating.
Are there any (good) synth/vsts out there that have an interface that tries to design around a computer user, rather than trying to emulate a physical synth? For example instead of a knob, i'd much rather type a value from 0-100 to represent the degrees.
