Hey all!
I make music with Cubase, I have tracks that are completely finished and I would like to focus on "performing".
I have a desktop PC (Windows 7) which is running Cubase and which contains ALL of my selfmade music.
I also have a Macbook Pro with Ableton Live and a Novation Launchpad which I would like to use to perform my tracks (I don't produce my tracks on the Macbook! I CAN yes, but I use my desktop Windows pc for that).
MY QUESTIONS=
-
I'd love to trigger percussion in the launchpad, does that mean I have to render ALL my tracks without that certain percussion and load that into Ableton somehow?... Seems like aloooot of work and it could mess up my track with the master chain etc etc I think...... anyway, if that's the right way, I guess i'll have to do it.

If I perform with my Macbook, is the audio (output) coming straight from my laptop? Lol.. If yes; isn't that risky? If I accidently push the space-bar could it stop the music? How are the connections? Macbook to mixer (djm 800 or whatever)? Can someone give me a quick idea?

How do you "mix" to your next track? Do you open a new Ableton project (probably not??) or do you guys make 1 giant live set in Ableton that contains all of your tracks?
-
Is everything "premade"? Do you guys prepare your livesets exactly before so everything goes perfect or do you randomly jam around while performing?
Conclusion; I got the gear, the music, I'm ready and I'm "dipping my toe in the water". Lol
BTW I know these are alot of questions but i'd really appreciate it if someone helped me out a little!!!! :-)
thanks alot in advance Redditors!
