I've been playing around with adding bass harmonics to bass lines in order to get that deep feel on small speakers. It seems like one of the best plugins to do this is UAD's precicion enhancer hz (http://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/special-processing/precision-enhancer-hz.html). But $200 seems outrageous for this effect as a bedroom producer. Anyone have any thoughts on alternatives or approaches to just building the harmonics myself?
