Can I just fingerpick Em and Am chords (since they are chords in the key of E minor, as I have understood) make it loop then play solos in the in E minor pentatonic scale over the chords? Is any position in the scale fine?
Also I often see people who are improvising go outside the pentatonic scale (for example) and play notes that are not in the scale even though they are playing in that specific key, could someone explain that for me? Thanks!
