So I just ordered the Bastl Kastle, which I'm excited about. But it uses "mini cables" that will not directly interface with typical modular gear. I'm wondering, can I take regular 1/8 patch cables and modify them by stripping one end and soldering on an alligator clip, so I can use those to attach to the mini cables? seems like the best option, unless there's some sort of generic breakout board (like they sell for the Moog Werkstatt) I can buy somewhere.
