Hi there first time posting here, hope it's the right place for this.
Here the UK these speakers seem to be able to pick up a PAIR of these second hand for around half the price of a SINGLE brand new one if you are lucky/patient enough. I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this is? I have not seen any such discrepancy from other brands and they seemed to receive favorable reviews upon release.
It's strange as I am shopping around for an upgrade from my Current Mackie MR8 mk3's, which i got for about ~£130 for the pair off amazon warehouse. Are Mackie's just poor with their resale value generally?
Any recommendations for speakers under £1000 a pair would be great as well. I am currently leaning towards Adam's A8X's, Equator D8's or maybe Adam F7's with sub.
