I like to inspire myself by playing my MIDI board along to iTunes on shuffle. But since it's a MIDI board, I have to go configure a piano sound in my DAW, which isn't a huge hassle, but I wish there was something just easier that didn't take me even a minute or two to set up. What I want is a completely separate application I can just open up that can
a) instantly auto recognize my keyboard without me having to configure it every time
b) sounds decent (don't prefer overly bright patches, as they distort with tracks I'm listening to)
c) Free (ideally)
Even something simple. I'm just looking for an easy way to sit down and basically have a playable piano at my fingertips without spending time setting one up.
Thanks all
