Over the past few years, I've been fortunate enough to find my way into the audio world as an intern at a local studio with no formal training. With hard work and dedication, I now work for a national live sound company, and assist at multiple studios. I put together a little study guide for myself, taking most of the other guides i've seen while trying to assess and condense some basic info on what's "necessary" and suggested when starting out.
