I have no idea why but when I'm producing music practicing and following tutorials I am way to hard on myself. It goes like this :
I find an awesome tutorial think it sounds amazing, then I try and follow it's instructions, not exactly but close to it as a guide. Then I like what I made, the more I listen to it the more I hate it. Then I go back to the tutorial and then I think the tutorial sounds bad now too? It's like wth. The tuts are good but what gives? I get to a point where I am even sick of listening to the big/famous producers and think it doesn't sound awesome
