If I open a new Ableton project and use some basic stuff, even some Massive instances - no problem or lag! Once I open a few Serum instances it quickly gets so much latency I can't record MIDI without tons of lag. I have an i7 high end laptop and use a Scarlet i4 as my audio interface, with ASIO4all as my driver, so it should all be fine, right?
I don't pirate my stuff so no worries there, including Serum, FYI.
Any tips appreciated!
