Hey all
I have a huge passion for music, it keeps me calm and I consider a huge part of me. I want to make my own music. I want to stop thinking of production and sounds i make up in my head, and i want to make it a product of my own. I have FL Studio 12, but I am just lost on how to make music. I feel like with the plugins i have are just making me restricted, well again I 'feel' like it is. I hear music and I think to myself, how the hell does it sound unique? Like one song sounds different from the other, with the piano tweak, or bass tweak etc. I don't know how to do it, and I have searched but my real dilemma is- Do i really need big plugins in order to start making unique sounds? I want to make stuff that sounds like a hybrid of Flume and Calvin Harris/ Diplo. That sort of stuff. I just don't know where to start without jack shit plugins. Should I invest in some major ones with thousands of different sounds? Like how did you guys start, and make tracks that are unique.
