When I'm playing guitar I'll get into a state where I just play what comes into my head and it sounds new and awesome, but then I realize I like what I'm playing and then I focus on what I'm playing instead of just playing. When this happens I fall back into repeated patterns that I've been playing for months.
Have any of you experienced this and figured a way?
