I was listening to a piano version of Post Malone's Deja Vu and the progression was fairly simple - the song is in G Major and the chords go A min -> D dom -> G maj -> C maj - > A flat diminished chord (he plays an A flat on the bass and then D, F, G# and B with his right hand). So this is a 2-5-1, followed by a 4, and then a chord with no seeming relation to this scale. Can anyone shed some light here?
