Hey guys,
I'm about to give up. Whatever track I'm working on, I never manage to make a good drop.
I'm making trap music and try to orientate a bit on Hybrid Trap but also I want to go in a slight chinese direction.
The track I'm working on right now has this chinese feeling to it and it was easy to create it but when it comes to the drop I'm completely clueless. I tried several things, starting from dubstep/hybrid drops to a heavy lead to just random sounds to chopped vocals.
Nothing comes close to what I want, hell I don't even really know what I want.
All I know is that it should be powerful and fits the rest of the song but it just sounds terrible whatever I try.
Either the melody doesn't fit at all or the instrument.
I kind of want something in the style of troyboi but in a chinese style and more aggressive.
Can anyone please give me advice on how to create a good drop.
