Hey everyone,
Short background: I've been playing music (bass guitar, keys, piano, some percussion, ...) for over ten years. Also have quite a bit of live experience in bands.
Now I've been playing with the idea of starting a solo live industrial/techno project and with a stroke of luck, I have both a budget (of about 800 euros) and I found two machines on the used market:
Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1 UW (600€) MFB Tanzbär (675€)
Before this I've tinkered with cheap drum machines before (mainly the Akai Rhythm Wolf). Which one of these would be most suited for what I'm trying to do? I also have a bunch of effects pedals which I'd run them though.
