My goal is to produce incredible high quality Heavy Metal / Alt Rock and Electronic Dance / Dubstep music. I am just starting out learning the DAW, but there are so many terms and confusing effect types and jargon. Is there a producer's beginner foundational course or book that covers everything from sound design to recording mics and effects gear mastering, what types of soundwaves are, whatever I need, etc? Can anyone recommend? HOPEFULLY Sonic Academy or MacProVideo.com or Lynda or some company like that makes one. Thanks guys so much for your incredible recommendation.
