Recently I've been trying to add depth to my tracks and make them sound more full, and fills are something I've been meaning to start using more. However, I have no idea how to go about keeping them from sounding disjointed. Does it have to do with things like the sounds themselves used, or is it due to the way it's mixed? What is it about well-made fills that make them feel "together"?
