Hello, I recently started getting interested in making music but more for my own amusement than anything else. I have played guitar for years and used that to arrange some songs that I quite like. I have the exact sound and feel of the song in my head and I put it all out on a piano roll in FL studio and it sounds great but now comes the most difficult part for me- sound design. I have a great grasp on theory but this stuff is like another language to me and I have no clue where to begin and I have little money to drop on a synyh after buying FL studio. So could someone:
1) Recommend a resource or channel for me to learn a lot of the principles of sound design?
2) Recommend a free or really cheap synth vst that offers best bang for buck?
Thanks a lot guys!
