Ableton won't play through my external preamp

I've been using Ableton with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for a few years, but suddenly, it isn't working.

The cpu meter shows absolutely nothing, and the playhead doesn't even move when I press play. Just nothing happens.

I reinstalled the driver for the preamp, but it still doesn't work.

Has anybody had a similar issue?
