Been producing for about 6 years now on a pretty barebones setup but in the past year I got a real interface/mic setup, some monitors, good headphones and a midi keyboard and a controller so I'm pretty okay on the hardware front. I know there are plenty of threads like this one already but they're a bit old and 95% of people are saying to get monitors and hardware.
So, I got my tax returns back and I'm going to use it on something I love doing for once. I'm considering a few options for VSTs/bundles but I don't know which will meet my needs. My current obsession is making chill-hop beats and electronic-laced club jazz.
Should I just get Komplete 11? Serum and a bunch of cheaper plugins? There's so many options here that it's real stressful decision.
What are your suggestions for must-have paid plugins?
