Since the beginning of using FL Studio I have used Bose QC 25 headphones (yes, I know, deplorable for mixing however it is all I've got, I will buy better headphones in the future, I'm thinking DT990s or something in that price range). I will be getting my hands on a pair of JBL LSR 305s in the near future to enhance my mixing. My question is what should I expect from switching from a strangely curved (frequency response wise) headphone to a flat speaker? Will the song sound awful when I play it on the monitors? Will I have to play around a lot with EQing again to get the sound right? Can someone with knowledge of this let me know what I will have to prepare for when I get a more accurate sound reproduction device?
Thanks, FireFox500
