Can you mix with in ears?

Hi

So I use senhieser (wrong spelling I know I'm on mobile atm) momentum 2 in ears. £90. I think they sound decent and just wondering if I mix with reference tracks is it still able to get a good mix?

Also I heard about then giving you hearing problems. Is this true?
