what is the name of this type of sound? often found at the beginning of a breakdown

Noob producer here. I am looking for the type of sounds that are played to signify the start of a breakdown. It is often a sound that gradually fades out, sometimes it has a low pitch, sometimes more of a highpitch sound, but I'm looking for the name of this general category of sound. I guess maybe its like a whitenoise hit that gradually fades out? Some examples :
