I recently got Serum and made a supersaw and duplicated it twice (for 3 total instances). Playing a chord with 7 notes on all 3 at once caused FL to max out, causing stuttering and glitching. On Task Manager, when maxing out in FL, the CPU was only at 34%.
Specs:
CPU: i7-6700k (Running at 4.6GHz)
RAM: 16GB (2133Mhz)
Audio Interface: Novation Audiohub 2x4 USB
FL Settings:
Buffer size: 2048
Sampling rate: 44.1Khz
Resampling quality: 24-point sinc
Tripler buffering: On
Priority: Highest
Multithreaded generator processing: On
Multithreaded mixer processing: On
Smart disable: On
Serum Settings:
Bit size: 64-bit
Allow threaded processing: On
I'd like to know how to allocate far more CPU to FL Studio and/or what settings to change within Serum/FL. In actual projects, I'll be using Serum alongside other generators and plugins, so would maybe only be able to run one instance of Serum as it currently stands. Your help is greatly appreciated.
