So I've been producing for around 3 years or so, and i absolutely have improved vastly in that time, where i feel like I'm at the point where i can create a pretty professional sounding song. However I've been in a really depressing place the past few months musically, as i still dont feel like i have my own musical identity at all, all i do is end up just copying someone else's style or uniqueness, i have an idea in my head of what i want my music to be but keep feeling that maybe I'm just not creative enough to be my own musical artist. I would've thought by this point i should have some sort of my own personality in my productions but i honestly just go from one artist to the next vaguely copying their styles it seems. Anyone got any advice? thank you
