Hey guys, I ran into an issue that's probably kind of rare. I use Edison a lot to record stuff, and then I just drag the WAV file to my playlist and it's all good.
But according to the IL website, Edison does not really "save" those WAV files. This is what they say:
Memory: Edison operates exclusively in RAM (memory) and is designed for working with samples or small songs
So those WAV files that I drag to my playlist are not saved anywhere, i.e. FL Studio is not "pulling" them from a specific folder on my hard drive like it does for my other samples.
I recently upgraded computers and had to re-install FL Studio and all my plugins. I transferred all my samples over, and everything works, EXCEPT those WAV files that I dragged from Edison. They just don't exist anymore, as far as I can tell. There is a folder deep within the Image-line folder called Edison>Data>Samples, but dragging audio from Edison to the playlist does not result in anything being saved there.
So most of my projects won't open properly anymore, despite having transferred all the .flps and samples. Anyone have a solution to this problem? Not too worried about retrieving those lost samples, but I'd like to prevent this problem from occurring in the future.
