Just recently started to get into music production. So far ive mostly spent time to learn how the DAW (FL Studio) works. Ive also been working on some melodies and beats...
So i came up with this idea to try tro recreate the melodies in the vandalism soundset videos. Im doing pretty well imo, but my problem is recreating the sounds. I use the same presets as in the video but the sound is very different. For example in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-Qs4U6VrVU) 5:41 - 6:10.
I use the same presets but it sounds different on the video. My sound is kind of "flat" and booring while on the video their sound is louder and doesnt sound as empty and flat. How do i make my sound as good as theirs? What kinds of effects do they use?
