This is new territory for me and I thought this would be a good place to ask for answers to a few questions I have. I'm looking for a vocalist with access to a studio who can record the vocal from lyrics. Should I write out the lyrics with notation? Is it OK for the vocalist to make up their own melodic structures based off the lyrics? etc. etc. Here are the questions.
- Where are the best places online to look for vocalists?
- What should I avoid?
- What is expected from me?
- Contracts?
