Hey guys, been picking up some really useful information in this subreddit regarding production so i thought i'd pick the brains of some of the more experienced producers out there: Basically i'm trying to incorporate funky basslines into some of my songs- Similar to the ones found in Bruno Mars' recent songs/old school moog bass/funky guitar basses found in Funk House etc.
I have Serum, Sylenth and Nexus so i probably have the means to make my own but i'm struggling to find good tutorials to do so. I'd love if someone could help me out with some suggestions. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to sound engineering at the moment so if you are able to help i'd appreciate if you could keep the instructions watered down as i'm not up to speed with manipulating sound waves but I am trying haha.
