The title is self explanatory, But I'm getting better with my mixing and mastering and still think I have an issue with my low end. I typically dont meter things unless its like RMS or the super basic/fundamental stuff because i like to rely on my ears, but Im curious if there are any fundamental techniques regarding sub bass that I can use/learn.
For example, a kick should have a peak volume of 0 (before gain staging), so in relation to said kick, where should the sub be sitting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
