I wanna make strings in particular sound like they played live and recorded with old gear like in the 70's, 80's. Not with artifacts like annoying clicks and noise.. but to capture that warm tone with subtle distortions that seems to fill the speakers. Anyone do this already and care to share a few tips? Theres a guy called jinsang I've been listening to on youtube that does this just how I want. check out jinsang - elevated to hear what I mean
