I've been struggling for the last 3 hours trying to rearrange the settings on the Focusrite Control software for my Scarlet 18i20.
Problem: When I resample or audio record from a return track (which is an Eventide pedal on an external audio effect within Ableton Live) the recording appears to be linked to the audio Interface's Monitor Gain knob. Therefore, the volume isn't linked to the DAW level and only records to how loud the monitor gain knob on my scarlet interface is set to. (i.e. lower the gain knob - very low volume on the audio track recording; higher the gain knob - higher volume on the audio track recording)
Below is my setup on my interface with screenshots: Ableton Live - Pair KRK Monitors on Ouputs 1,2 First Eventide Pedal on Outputs 3,4 with Inputs on 7,8 (Set as a return track with external audio effect) Second Eventide Pedal on Ouputs 9,10 with Inputs 3, 4 (Set as another return track with external audio effect)
I've read the manual and sparse videos on youtube. below are the screenshots on Focusrite Control. http://imgur.com/a/76qhc http://imgur.com/a/z2CXp
Question: Any guidance on how I to adjust my focusrite control settings to be able to record the return track but not have it linked to the audio interface monitor knob?
Would greatly appreciate any guidance. Thank you advance.
