Hi everyone,
After hours of futile preset digging, I wanted to get into sound design in order to create the exact sound I am looking for.
After not being able to find how to create the sound that I'm looking for (referring to insert specific artist here sound design tutorials), I tried watching some Youtube videos on Massive and Serum, namely from Sadowick and started reading the respective manuals. The problem I had with Sadowick videos and the manual are that they just broadly describe what each knob does. That is, I'm not learning how to make good sounding sounds but rather feel like I'm reading a reference book like a dictionary.
So my question is, what is the best way to learn sound design in the absence of specific tutorials? The sounds I am trying to make are R&B and alternative R&B (The Weeknd, Ta-ku) kind of sounds if that helps
