For the past year or so I have been trying to attempt to recreate the Astronaut growl bass with little to no avail. I was wondering if anyone here has any tips or knows how to recreate the bass.
For those who don't know the bass, here is a link to the track and ill add time signatures to where the growl occurs.

I have a feeling it is designed to be a reese of some description and resampled but i could be on a complete tangent.
