I have an Akai XR20 hooked up to my M-Audio Midisport 4x4. I can easily trigger the sounds via my master keyboard and record those midi signals into reason. However, there are some times when I would like to record the pads (along with their velocity information) directly from the Akai into a midi track into reason. I can't seem to find a way to input these signals. Just to state the obvious, I do have both the midi In & Out of the Akai connected to the Midisport. Anyone have any suggestions?
