Question A : How to count quarter beats with sixteenth beat rests?
Question B : I do not know how to count 16th beats individually with a quarter beat metronomes; Can anyone suggest me how to do that?
I know how to practice counting :- **
- Every 16th & 32nd notes separately
- Permutation & combination of each individual, dual, triple & quadruple 16th note/s with a steady quarter beat metronome *
- Permutation & combination of each individual, dual, triple & quadruple 32nd notes with a steady 16th beat on the other hand *
Partial Solution B : In the mean time how I see it is by playing the same 16th note pattern but with a 16th rest at every 1st instance in a beat.
Suggest me exercises to lead me up to Question A.
* ie with none, single, dual, triple rests respectively)
