Hey there,
So I tried to record something through my Scarlett 2i2 interface and an annoying static noise kept playing untill I put my hand on the interface, when I release my hand it starts again. Is this some sort of grounding issue? It's USB powered through my PC and there are no cables surrounding it. I've also tried all of the settings on the interface (direct monitoring off, phantom power off, changing knob values, etc). All there is are 2 balanced TRS cables to my monitors, the USB power cable and my mic input.
Anyone has a clue on how to fix this? Here's an example of the sound: https://clyp.it/3iekk1hk
As you can hear it's not some whitenoise from my fan or mic, because you still hear some noise when I put my hand on the interface (that's noise from my room/mic).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
