So I'm guessing a lot of you can probably relate to this but I've been dealing with depression for a little over 6 years now and I picked up producing 2 years ago. I chose music cause it's my passion and it's helped me through some fucked up shit. Although I do enjoy producing, it does hold a lot of self doubt and comparing yourself and crazy consistent writers block. Which is inevitable in creative fields but it's gotten me to a rock bottom almost. I'm in my daw for at least 1-4 hours a day but for the most part my creativeness only sparks up rarely. I often get stressed from missing a day even, feels like wasted time. I'll make what I think is a banger or something I really like and then I'll have insane writers block for like weeks to a month straight and that's when the self doubt gets worse. What do you guys do when you feel like you've not been progressing and just overall feeling like you're gonna be stuck in this loop forever?
