First off, I've searched the subreddit with the search bar. The thread I'm looking for is one about a guy who took off from work for a year to pursue music. In this thread he spoke about how when he was working he also put more work into music, but since he had so much free time he didn't put as much time into music. And in the thread there was a comment about Steve Jobs and how he over scheduled his employees that way they would be forced to do their projects.
